The wins just keep coming for the Saint Ignatius varsity tennis team.

The Wildcats hit the road on Wednesday evening, returning from Walsh Jesuit with a 5-0 victory. The Tennis Cats advanced to 12-1 on the season with the victory.

As per usual, Arjun Brahmbhatt did his job well at No. 1 singles. The sophomore started the Wildcats' third straight win with a quick 6-0, 6-2 win at the top singles spot.

Brian Zhu followed Brahmbhatt's act with a victory of his own in the No. 2 singles match. The savvy senior claimed a 6-4, 6-1 triumph to keep his record shiny clean.

The sweep of singles play was completed by Drew Barclay. He eased his way to a 6-0, 6-2 victory at the No. 3 spot, wrapping up singles play with style.

The combo of Richie Hofstra and Nate Day served as the No. 1 doubles team for the Cats on Wednesday. The senior-freshman duo took care of business against the Warriors' junior-senior pai, 6-2, 6-2.

In No. 2 doubles, Head Coach Bobbe Bennett paired Jack McNally and Thomas Deucher. The two experienced vets put on a show with a 6-0, 6-3 victory for the blue and gold. With the duo's win, the Wildcats captured the team's 10th clean sweep of the season.

Next up for the Wildcats is a trip to Columbus. The Tennis Cats will face New Albany on Friday and then take part in the Albany Invitational on Saturday.
