From Elyria Catholic High School - The Junior Varsity 'Cats, who improved to 16-2 heading into Saturday's 6 PM tipoff at Massillon Washington, were paced by 13 points from standout sophomore forward/guard Griffin Hanna and an 11-point night by endless-hustle sophomore forward Rory McConville.

Sophomore Pat Hyland's desire and versatility were sparks off the bench Wednesday evening, as Pat's hustle, rebounding and defense played major roles in Saint Ignatius' 73-55 triumph at Elyria Catholic. Pat also chipped in with four points, two of those coming on what Coach McLaughlin described as "a beautiful alley-opp."

The other leaders among the 12 'Cats who hit the scoring column were sophomore guard Daniel Nunez with eight points and the multi-skilled duo of sophomore forward Connor Cmiel and sophomore post Michael McNamara, who each contributed seven points.

Saint Ignatius led, 42-30, at halftime and 56-40 entering the fourth quarter.
