Ohio City - The 11-6 Wildcats, coming off Saturday's heart-pounding 64-62 victory over Beachwood in Father Sullivan Gymnasium, will now gear up for Saturday night's 7:30 tipoff at Massillon. The Tigers are currently 10-9.

This corner will provide a preview on Massillon for a Thursday morning post.

In case you missed our post from Sunday, Coach Brian Becker's Wildcats garnered the third seed at the OHSAA Division I  Strongsville District. The 'Cats will face the winner of Brecksville-Broadview Heights versus Valley Forge in a sectional final on March 3 at 7 PM in Father Sullivan Gymnasium.

This year's Strongsville District will have the two semifinal games played at Strongsville High School, but the March 10th District Championship Game will return to Cleveland State University's Wolstein Center. For a complete Strongsville Bracket, see the corner's post from Sunday.

The top four seeds at Strongsville are 1. Defending District Champion St. Edward; 2. Brunswick; 3. The 'Cats and 4. Lakewood. Lakewood's Rangers, ranked 14th by cleveland.com, are one of the hottest teams in Greater Cleveland.

Here is how the area's Top 10 programs stand in the latest cleveland.com rankings. 1. Solon (18-0). Consistency and a team-first approach personified; 2. St. Edward (16-3). The Eagles remain unbeaten in Northeast Ohio; 3. Garfield Heights (11-5) Okay, I guess; 4. Cleveland Central Catholic (15-3); 5. Stow (15-3); 6. Archbishop Hoban (16-2); 7. Benedictine (14-5); 8.
