The Saint Ignatius soccer team has overcome a difficult schedule and a youth movement to roll to a 5-1-1 record so far this season.

One of the team's key members and captains helped the Wildcats avoid a loss on Saturday in dramatic fashion.

Alex Rohr battled back from an injury sustained before the season to return for Saturday's home contest versus the Mason Comets. Rohr made his presence known, scoring the tying tally in the second half. Thanks to Rohr's heroics, the Wildcats tied the always-tough Comets, 1-1.

The team leader is one of the few veterans on the roster this season, playing a critical role for the team even when not on the field.

Rohr's leadership will be necessary tonight again at Wasmer Field. The Wildcats will host the St. Edward Eagles tonight at 8 pm in a premier rivalry contest.

If you can't come support the Soccer Cats, be sure to tune into the SIBN for the call with Brad Anderson '18, Bain Kurtz '18, and Jack O'Rourke.
