The season is off to a nice start for the Saint Ignatius JV Gold golf team.

The men of Tom Beach participated in Hudson High School's JV Invitational at The Country Club of Hudson.

The JV Gold Cats represented the program well in Hudson. According to Coach Beach:

"We placed second having shot a team score of 333.  We tied Upper Arlington but lost to them when we went to our fifth player's score."

Connor Warns notched an impressive 36/40 for a score of 76, finishing as the day's medalist. John Klym's 81 gave him second on the team, Jess Saunders scored an 87, K.J. Ripich tabbed a 89, and Kyle Gerrity rounded out the squad with a 92.

The JV Gold squad will take part along with the varsity team in the Saint Ignatius Invitational at Red Tail Golf Course in Avon tomorrow. The Wildcats will look to hone their games before receiving a break until a match with University School next Monday.
