On a beautiful day in Ohio City, 18 Saint Ignatius student-athletes enjoyed their day in the sun.

Eighteen Wildcats committed to colleges and universities today in the Breen Center for Performing Arts in front of parents, siblings, coaches, and fellow students on a festive National Signing Day.

As athletic director Rory Fitzpatrick '88 said, today was a day to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments and achievements of an impressive senior class.

Perhaps the most significant storyline of the day belonged to Mike Chime. The Mentor native committed just yesterday to Yale University.

Due to the late nature of his commitment, Chime initially didn't have a hat to wear. But the Williams family ended Chime the hat that Eric Williams (an outstanding quarterback from the class of 2012) wore during his time with the Bulldogs.

Across the stage, each student-athlete beamed with joy as families snapped photos and basked in the moment.

Below is the complete list of commitments. Congratulations to these 18 young men, who have bright futures ahead of them in college and beyond.
