In 2007, before Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and 4G internet, the Saint Ignatius Broadcast Network was born.

Ten years later, the SIBN has evolved and grown into a club that broadcasts nearly 125 events per school year.

And on Friday, January 13, the SIBN will celebrate a significant milestone – its 1,000th broadcast.

The broadcast falls on the Basketball Cats' annual showdown with the St. Edward Eagles at Sullivan Gym. The matchup promises to be an exciting game between two of the best teams in Northeast Ohio.

The SIBN will commemorate the occasion by bringing back the founder of the club, Brendan Gulick '09. Moderator Jeff McCormick '83 will also be present to retell the memories of the club's founding and its memorable moments since.

Matt MacKenzie '18, Brendan DeVenney '17, and Matt Harsar '17 will have the call for the historic broadcast. Junior varsity action will begin at 5:30 p.m., with the varsity contest slated to begin at 7:00 p.m.
