Cleveland, Ohio - For the second time this school year, Saint Ignatius' stellar senior cross country/track athlete C.J. Ambrosio has been selected as the Wildcats' Athlete of the Week.

And come this spring, you will probably see C.J.'s name in this prestigious award category again.

After helping the Wildcats' Track and Field Team to the OHSAA State Championship this past spring with a school-record season, C.J. was the essence of skill, composure and leadership this summer and fall.

Coming off a junior season in cross country in which he was an integral part of the program's fourth State Championship, C.J. set a school record at this past weekend's 88th annual State Cross Country Championships with a time of 15:15 on the National Trail Raceway course in Hebron, Ohio.

C.J. finished fourth overall in a field of athletes that was among the strongest in the rich history of Ohio's State Meet, and led the Cat Pack to a seventh place finish overall.

After a little time off, and the operative word is little, C.J. will soon begin preparing for the upcoming track and field season.
