Cleveland, Ohio - Coach Mike McLaughlin's two-time defending and record seven-time OHSAA State Champion Soccer Cats are now No. 1 in both of the major national polls.

Saint Ignatius, which will take a record of 19-0-2 and an unbeaten streak of 57 consecutive matches into tomorrow's(Wednesday) OHSAA 7 PM State Semifinal matchup with Medina (18-1-2) at Strongsville High School, remained No. 1 in the USA Today Super 25 national rankings and jumped from third to first place in the Top Drawer Soccer SIMA Fab 50 National poll.

With the exception of the Wildcats maintaining their No. 1 status, there was a major shakeup in USA Today's top five this week.

Boulder (CO) High School,18-0-0, jumped from fifth to second place, Stillwater (MN) Area High School, 24-0-0, went from fourth to third, Lower Dauphin High School from Hummelstown, PA, 24-0-0, climbed from ninth to fourth, and Fairport (NY) High School, 18-1-1, moved from seventh to the fifth spot.

State Final Four qualifier St. Charles Prep (20-0-1) from the Columbus area went from 12th to ninth place in this week's USA Today Super 25 and moved up five spots to 14th place in the Top Drawer Soccer SIMA Fab 50. St. Charles Prep was ranked second to Saint Ignatius in this season's final State Poll by the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association.

Boulder (CO) High School took over second place in the Top Drawer Soccer SIMA Fab 50 after being ranked fourth in that poll last week. So USA Today and Top Drawer Soccer agree on 1 and 2.
