With C.J. running a third-place 15.58.77, the Cat Pack finished fourth overall at Saturday's Boardman Regional and advanced to the 88th annual OHSAA State Championships on November 5th at the National Trail Raceway Course in Hebron, Ohio.

Andrew Szendrey, the Wildcats' Student Athlete of the Week for his efforts at the Medina District on October 22, placed 29th at the Boardman Regional in a time of 16:51.81.

Congratulations to C.J., Andrew, Head Coach Dr. Mike Gallagher '71 and the entire 2016 version of the Cat Pack.

The top two individual times at the Boardman Regional were turned in by Twinsburg's Ryan Adkins (15:55.97) and Matt Bull from Mentor (15:57.55).

Leading the top 8 state qualifying teams were Ohio's top-ranked Solon Comets, followed by Louisville, Hudson, Saint Ignatius, Medina, Kenston, Massillon Jackson and Strongsville.

We will look forward to the annual Sunday evening Gallagher Report from the always No. 1 Cross Country Coach in the Buckeye State.
