Andrew '20, a standout among the many promising underclassmen in Coach Brian Becker's Golf Program, put together two impressive performances for the Golf Cats this past weekend.

In Saturday's prestigious St. John's Jesuit Titan Cup on the course at Maumee Bay, Andrew shot a 77 and he came back on Sunday with another round of 77 at Pine Hills. Andrew joined senior Michael McCaffrey as the 'Cats' leaders at the Titan Cup, as Michael also shot a 77 at Maumee Bay.

During the Titan Cup, Andrew, in the words of Coach Becker '77, was very steady, as he hit 13 greens in regulation. Andrew's effort on Sunday at Pine Hills garnered him medalist honors for Saint Ignatius.  

Up next for Andrew and the Wildcats' Men of the Links is the annual Dublin Jerome Honorary at the Tartan Fields Country Club on Saturday at 12:30 PM.

Then it is on to the all-important OHSAA Tournament beginning with Sectional Play on October 3. The Division I Sectional involving the Wildcats will take place at the Sweetbriar Golf Course in Avon Lake.
