Cleveland, Ohio - For those who inquired, the first Associated Press State Football Poll for 2016 will be released on Monday evening, September 12th. The first official OHSAA computer playoff ratings for the season will be announced on September 22.

As we reported on the corner Sunday morning, computer playoff guru Joe Eitel has St. Edward and Saint Ignatius 1-2 in the Division I, Region 1 computer ratings heading into this weekend's action. Once again, the top eight teams in Region 1 at the end of the regular season qualify for the OHSAA playoffs.
