Saint Ignatius was defeated by University School, 5-4, in overtime on Sunday night in another will-testing game on the ice between the 'Cats and the Preppers.

The teams have now split their two meetings this winter, with Saint Ignatius prevailing, 2-1, on December 22 in the Brooklyn Recreation Center.

During its victory at The Pond on Sunday, US overcame a two-goal deficit late in the third period and went on to snap the Wildcats' 11-game winning streak.

Saint Ignatius (16-4) will look to bounce back on Thursday night, when it travels to Winterhurst to face longtime rival St. Edward. The puck will drop at 7:10. The Wildcats defeated the Eagles, 4-1, on Dec. 11 at Quicken Loans Arena.
