Saint Ignatius was defeated by Toledo St. John's Jesuit, 4-2, in the championship final of the annual Ohio Jesuit Cup Hockey Tournament at the Kent State Ice Arena on Sunday.

In avenging Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Wildcats, the Titans scored one of their decisive goals against an empty net. Both teams are 3-1 on the young season.

Sophomore Miles McQuinn scored both of Saint Ignatius' goals and now has eight lamp lighters in four games.

The Wildcats' Sports Information Department reports that Saint Ignatius hockey coach Pat O'Rourke '90 reached a milestone during the Jesuit Tournament by becoming the program's leader in career victories with 136. O'Rourke is in his seventh season as head coach.
