FOR DAVID JOSEPH AND THE 'CATS, EIGHT IS MORE THAN ENOUGH!

POSTED ON 3/25/11.
Senior David Joseph, better known to many Saint Ignatius fans as a standout wide receiver/kick returner in football, scored a school-best eight goals on Friday night in leading the Wildcats' lacrosse team to a 15-1 victory over Westlake on Wasmer Field.

Mike Watts '11 of the Saint Ignatius Sports Information Department said the 'Cats' previous single-game mark in lacrosse was a seven-goal effort by Kevin Clark against Hawken School in 2005.

Joseph is off to a quick start this spring, as his hat trick on Wednesday helped Saint Ignatius to a 10-2 triumph over Toledo St. Francis DeSales on Wasmer Field. The 'Cats are 2-0 on the young season.

Congratulations to David, an athlete who knows no other way to play but to leave it all on the field.
