WILDCATS IN FOURTH PLACE AFTER THE FIRST DAY OF THE STATE GOLF TOURNAMENT.

Although Beau Titsworth was tied for the indidivual lead, Saint Ignatius' golf team stood in fourth place after the first day of the OHSAA Division I state golf tournament.

Dublin Jerome fired a 308 on the Scarlet Course at The Ohio State University to take Friday's first-place position and Upper Arlington was right behind the Celtics with a 309. Centerville's Elks shot a 317 and the Wildcats were fourth with an opening round of 318.

Titsworth, an Oklahoma recruit, shot a 34-38-72 to tie Justin Wick of Upper Arlington. A freshman, Wick's round was 38-34-72.

Matt Gerard and Christian Wagner each shot a 79 for the 'Cats.

Saint Ignatius will tee off from the No. 10 hole on Saturday at approximately 9:56 A.M.
