***NOTE SITE AND TIME CHANGE.

Today's OHSAA sectional semifinal baseball game between Saint Ignatius and Maple Heights, which was originally scheduled for Baldwin-Wallace College, has been moved to All Pro Freight Stadium in Avon. The game will now be played under the lights at 7 p.m. It was originally slated for Baldwin-Wallace at 4:30 p.m., however B-W has determined that its field is unplayable.

We will let you know if any further developments take place, but as of 12:30 this afternoon the game was officially moved to All Pro Freight Stadium with a 7 p.m. first pitch.

CONGRATULATIONS GO OUT TO John Carroll University's Brendan Gulick '09, who has been named the 13th-best collegiate sportscaster by the Sportscasters Talent Agency of America. The "All-American" competition is run annually by the STAA, which selects a top twenty and a couple of "honorable mentions". The link to their site is http://staatalent.com/all-america-program/

The pioneer of the Saint Ignatius Student Broadcasting Network, Brendan, always the epitome of class, was a member of the Wildcats' Division I state final four baseball team in the spring of 2009. This corner had the privilege of doing a feature on Brendan during the tournament run and spending some time on the air with him during his senior year at Saint Ignatius.

Again, congratulations to Brendan and his family.
