I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the family of area high school girls basketball coaching legend Pat Diulus, as Pat passed away this week.

During my four decades at The Plain Dealer, I had the privilege to cover and report on Pat's many outstanding teams at Trinity High School, and the many exceptional young women he guided.

Again, our prayers and sympathy are with Pat's family and those former student/athletes whose lives Pat had a major influence on.

Rest in Peace, Pat.
