Friday night in The Breen Center for the Performing Arts, Saint Ignatius High School will present its prestigious Alumni Awards and honor its Athletic Hall of Fame Honorees for 2012.

Festivities will get under way at 6 p.m.

The corner wishes to express its heartfelt congratulations to all of the honorees.

Larry J. Dolan ’50 and Peter A. Carfagna ’71 will receive The Honorable John V. Corrigan ’38 Distinguished Alumnus Awards.

Michael T. DeGrandis ’79 will receive the Founder’s Award, which is named in honor of Rev. Robert J. Welsh, S.J. ’54 and the late Margaret S. and Murlan J. Murphy ’36.

This year’s Athletic Hall of Fame Honorees are Martin J. Wise ’77, Todd Minnier ’00 and David L. Maier ’01.

*New date for freshman soccer: Saint Ignatius Associate Athletic Director Sean O’Toole ’87 reports that the 9th grade soccer game at St. Edward High School has been moved to Monday, October 1st at 6:30 p.m. Again, the game is at St. Edward.
