The Saint Ignatius Wildcats (6-0) moved from 18th to 17th in this week's USA Today Super 25 national football rankings. As the corner reported on Sunday (see post below), Saint Ignatius remained in the top spot in the all-important Region 1 computer playoff ratings by ratings guru Joe Eitel.

Cincinnati Colerain is the only other Ohio school in the USA Today Super 25, as the Cardinals (6-0) maintained their national ranking of 11th.

And, as expected, Saint Ignatius remained in the top spot in this week's Associated Press Division I state poll and Plain Dealer Top 25 area poll. The Wildcats and the Colerain Cardinals are 1-2 in Ohio.

The corner will preview Saturday's Week 7 encounter with the John Adams Rebels on Tuesday night.
