Saint Ignatius Athletic facilities will open for non-mandatory, voluntary workouts on Monday, June 15. 

Summer sports camps begin today. Click here to register and see availability for summer sports camps.

Per the Director of the Ohio Department of Health, all school buildings and athletic facilities must be closed through June 30, 2020. Further communication regarding Saint Ignatius summer sports camps will be forthcoming soon.

The OHSAA has announced that spring sports are canceled.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced today that schools will remain closed through the end of the school year.

March 30, 2020

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced today that schools will remain closed through May 1. The OHSAA will soon release a new spring sports timeline.

The OHSAA announced that all winter tournaments, including the state hockey tournament, have been canceled.

RugbyOhio announced that the spring rugby season has officially been canceled. The full statement is available here

March 19, 2020

The State Ice Hockey Tournament is still "indefinitely postponed," not yet canceled, as per the OHSAA's press conference. OHSAA Commissioner Jerry Snodgrass said a determination could be made "in the next 24-48 hours." 

Spring sports are also not canceled yet, per the OHSAA. 

March 13, 2020

Spring sports at Saint Ignatius High School have been suspended through Sunday, April 5, 2020. No games or practices will be allowed during this time. The affected programs are baseball, crew, lacrosse, rugby, tennis, track & field, and volleyball. When further athletic updates are available, they will be posted to ignatiuswildcats.com. 

March 12, 2020

Hockey: The 2020 State Ice Hockey Tournament has been postponed until further notice, per the OHSAA. 

In the wake of the announcement, the Wildcats played an intrasquad scrimmage on Thursday at the John M. Coyne Recreation Center. That story is available here. 

Baseball: Everything is on as scheduled.

Crew: Everything is on as scheduled.

Lacrosse: This weekend's scrimmages on Wasmer and McLaughlin Fields are on as scheduled. The game vs. Western Reserve Academy originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 8 has been postponed. 

Rugby: This Saturday's games vs. Fishers at Dublin Jerome are on as scheduled. However, next Sunday's game vs. Saint Louis University High School has been canceled. 

Track & Field: Everything is on as scheduled.

Volleyball: JV Volleyball practice for Friday, March 13 has been canceled. The varsity team will still practice at 10 am on Friday morning. The team potluck has been canceled.

Hockey: The OHSAA has limited spectators at this weekend's state ice hockey tournament. Each student-athlete will be allowed four tickets. All other fans are prohibited. The SIBN will have a live audio stream of Saturday's 12 pm State Semifinal at ignatiuswildcats.com/SIBN-live
