In the midst of another successful season, a host of Ice Cats have been recognized with All-Ohio status.

Six seniors on the Saint Ignatius hockey squad have garnered recognition entering this weekend's State Ice Hockey Tournament: Michael Boehm, Greg Langermeier, Alex Bilardo, Aidan Millett, Camden Kurtz, and Matt Sullivan. 

Not a bad group of Wildcats.

Michael Boehm leads the pack. The Rocky River native garnered Defensive Player of the Year and 1st Team All-Ohio honors after an outstanding senior season. Boehm starred as a standout blueliner, thwarting opposing attacks all season long. The captain is not afraid to enter the rush too, showcasing his supreme skills with the puck. Boehm has tallied 6 goals and 18 assists thus far this season for 24 points. 

Greg Langermeier earned the distinction of 3rd Team All-Ohio. From the moment he returned to the ice after suffering an injury early in lacrosse season, Langermier made a huge impact. The heavy-hitting senior often set the tone with his bone-crushing hits and his overall physical play. The captain also possesses a killer slapshot that goalies have trouble stopping. Entering this weekend, Langermeier stands on the team with 12 goals and 15 assists, totaling 27 points.

Four Wildcats forwards snagged All-Ohio Honorable Mention selections – Alex Bilardo, Aidan Millett, Cam Kurtz, and Matt Sullivan.

Millett tops the team in every scoring category. The senior leads the squad with 32 goals and 25 assists, totaling 57 points. Few players own the kind of mitts that Millett has. The Bay Village native can roof the puck with the best of him, breaking out his deadly wrist shot to beat the goalie. You can't leave Millett alone in space, or he'll make you pay. 

Sullivan is a skillful player who's fun to watch. The sleek athlete can glide to the net and has the moves to beat just about any goalie. Sullivan has 16 goals and 10 assists on the year. 

Kurtz is a power forward with plenty of touch. The Westlake native can score in bunches or punish you with solid hits. Currently, Kurtz stands second on the squad with 23 goals, adding a cool 21 apples for a grand total of 44 points. 

As a smaller forward, Bilardo plays a finesse game with his incredible dekes and stick skills. His athleticism and moves set him apart on the ice. Bilardo has thrived this year, to the tune of 18 goals and 19 assists, giving him 37 points for the campaign. 

All six Wildcats will look to record the program's fifth straight title this weekend in Columbus.
