Raynor made the third team for the Wildcats.

The 2020 Northeast Lakes All-District boys basketball teams features five Wildcats.

Henry Raynor, Chase Toppin, Danny Nunez, Griffin Hanna, and Jon Effertz repped the Wildcats on the All-District squad.

As Cleveland.com reported, the Northeast Lakes District consists of Cuyahoga, Lake, Lorain, Geauga and Ashtabula counties. All-district teams consist of seven players per team.

Raynor led the way for the Wildcats as a third-team selection. The 6'7" junior is leading the team with 14.6 points per game (ppg) and 7.7 rebounds per game (rpg). Raynor has developed into a monster in the low post and a difficult challenge for just about every team this season. Raynor is a special kind of player who will only continue to improve.

The rest of the Wildcat picks are honorable mentions. All are guards, and four of the five are seniors.

The Wildcats' point guard heads the list. Toppin stands second on the team in scoring with 9.7 ppg. The 6'2, 175-pound senior leads the squad with 5.0 assists per game, along with 1.6 steals per game. Toppin also gobbled up 4.2 rebounds per game, second on the squad.

Effertz is the lone sophomore to make the cut in the list for the Wildcats. The sharpshooter currently holds the No. 3 spot on the scoring leaderboard with 8.7 ppg. When Effertz gets hot, watch out. The young guard also pours in nice numbers on the defensive end.

Nunez provided plenty of spark all season as a shooting guard and has been rewarded with honorable mention status. The senior has tallied 6.5 ppg in 23 games this year. Nunez has also been a key distributor, tied for second on the team with 1.7 assists per game. He's a fun player who is quick with a smile and encouraging word with his teammates.

Griffin Hanna rounds out the bunch. A great player for the Wildcats this year, the 6'2, 180-pound guard always energizes the team with all-out style of play. His excellent shooting skills make him stand out, as Hanna tosses in 6.2 ppg along with 2.0 rpg. You can count on him to be a sparkplug every time he steps on the court.
