The Wildcats have a 29-point lead heading into Saturday.

For the second straight year, Will Claus is bringing hardware back home from Bowling Green State University.

Will Claus is a District Champion!

The junior captured the district diving title for the second straight season. Claus posted a dominant effort at BGSU on Tuesday, punching a ticket to the State Meet once again.

Claus tallied a score of 497.65, besting the field by 50 points. Claus did the same thing as a sophomore, notching an easy win. And the only reason he didn't win as a freshman was because of his brother, Alex, who rolled to 533 points.

Claus will be back in Canton for the State Meet for the third straight year, and he'll be ready to do more damage this season. Claus is incredibly talented and has developed well, thanks in part to Saint Ignatius diving coach Tom Blankenship.

Noah Keim also performed well on Tuesday, but not well enough, unfortunately, to move onto States. Keim tallied a score of 322.35, good for 10th. The top six head to the State Meet.

Even still, Keim has plenty of reason to be proud. Keim is an incredible young man with a great work ethic. Wherever his college destination, he's got a bright future.

As for Claus, he'll compete in the State Meet on Saturday, February 22 at 9 am at the CT Branin Natatorium. Look for him to vie for one of the top spots after placing sixth in 2019.
