Lacrosse season has not yet begun, and Michael Boehm has already started attracting attention.
The Saint Ignatius star has been chosen to play in the 2020 Adrenaline All-American Game.
The event, scheduled for June 20-21, will include a banquet on Saturday and then the game on Sunday. The festivities will take place at Ford Center at The Star, a 12,000-seat indoor facility in Frisco, Texas. The stadium is the home of the Dallas Rattlers of Major League Lacrosse.
Boehm earned US Lacrosse All-American status after an outstanding junior year. He also played in the 2019 Under Armour All American Lacrosse Classic® Underclass Tournament last June. During his junior campaign, Boehm notched 71 goals and 47 assists for a grand total of 118 points, all three new single-season program records.
His career stats are incredible, too. The dynamic attacker possesses the school's career records for goals (181), assists (119), and points (300).
A multi-sport student-athlete, Boehm is also a star defenseman for the Wildcats' hockey team. Boehm serves as a captain for both the Ice Cats and the Lax Cats.
