Xavier Everett resides in Euclid with his parents and four siblings. He attended Gilmour Academy for grade school.

Xavier had heard good things about the rugby team freshman year, but it never really crossed his mind to play until he realized most of his friends were also joining the rugby team. This helped to motivate Xavier to join the team his sophomore year. Xavier also really enjoyed the physicality of the sport and being able to carry the ball as opposed to the other sport he played which was football.

Xavier was placed in the second row, as he expected, thanks to his size at a staggering height of 6 feet 3 inches. The learning process for Xavier was a little unconventional.

“I learned the skills of the game somewhat easily like passing, rucking, and scrumming was not that hard, but the rules and other situations took a little while. I wasn't clueless, but I definitely learned as I played.”

Xavier made sure he always put his best effort on the pitch.

Xavier plans to attend Bowling Green State University in the fall and will major in computer science. Xavier loved BGSU’s campus and their incredible computer science program. He will play rugby for the Falcons.

Xavier would like to thank the following people, “I want to thank my coaches, family, and friends.”
