The goals came fast and furious, which can be attributed, in part, to a great week of practice. The Wildcats are focused and ready mentally and physically as the grand prize comes into view.

Leading 11-1 after the first, the Wildcats started slowing down the offense in the second quarter. Utilizing more passing, the Wildcats played a deliberate game and tried new looks. The Wildcats notched three more goals in the second, taking a 14-1 lead into the second half.

Griff "Biggie" Gerard played a leading role in the offense, scoring three goals in the first quarter and a fourth by game's end.

A number of young players received some playing time in the second half. Talented youngsters such as Logan Rechin, Drew Wynocker, Michael Mattimore, Max Hartley, Matt Kempton, Kyu Shim, and many others. Shim helped to add to the lead in the third, scoring a nice goal to aid the Wildcats in advancing the lead to 18-2.

The Wildcats scored two goals later, finishing off the game at 20-2.

With the Regional Quarterfinal in the rearview mirror, the Regional Semifinal will be on Tuesday. The SIBN will have live, audio-only coverage at 6 pm.
