Not even finished with his junior season, Michael Boehm has shattered every single offensive record in Saint Ignatius lacrosse program history.
Not just broken. Smashed.
As the Wildcats enter the Midwest Tournament and the OHSAA Tournament, it's become clear – Wildcats fans are witnessing history.
At the end of the regular season, the lacrosse coaching staff tabulates its stats, doublechecking and ensuring the accuracy of its preliminary stats. Upon looking at Boehm's season and career stats, your eyes might pop out of your head. Through 16 games, Boehm has scored 47 goals and tallied 32 assists for a total of 79 points.
For his career, that gives Boehm 157 goals, 104 assists, and 261 points. Boehm now owns the following records:
Goals: 67, 2018
Assists: 45, 2018
Points: 112, 2018
Goals: 157 (previous: 123, Alex Hornung, 2014-16)
Assists: 104 (previous: 72 assists, Michael Boehm)
Points: 261 (previous: 210 points, Thomas Paras, 2005-09)
Saint Ignatius fans are witnessing history. Breaking the program record for goals, assists, and points before the postseason of your junior season is unfathomable.
