The season ended on a tough note for the Saint Ignatius JV lacrosse squad.

The young program battled valiantly against a hybrid St. Edward team composed of a mix of varsity and JV players on Tuesday, but the Eagles walked away with a 14-0 win.

With the loss, the Wildcats finish out the regular season with a 4-9 record.

Freshman Danny Enovitch led the Eagles with 3 goals, just days after scoring for the Varsity Green Eagles vs. Shaker Heights. Several Eagles saw action in both the JV and varsity contests tonight. St. Edward listed five juniors and two seniors on the JV roster.

The young Wildcats will look to keep growing over the offseason, as there is plenty of potential among the freshmen and sophomore classes.

Kudos to JV head coach Max Rennillo ‘12 and stellar assistant coaches Kyle Katigbak ‘85 and Steven Weppner for all of the time and effort put forth this season.
