The Wildcats advanced to the District Quarterfinal this past Saturday with an 11-1 win over Brooklyn.

The Cats led the Canes 2-1 in the middle of the second before pulling away to win 11-1.

Andrew Denk and Bain Kurtz led the way with two goals apiece. Michael Boehm, Eric Lile, Rory Zawadzki, Greg Langermeier, and Connor McGowan scored.

Aidan Conway scored his first goal of the season. Michael Boehm also had three assists. Nick Bernstein got the win, as the Cats improved to 25-9-1.

Senior Student Manager Matt Bagley dressed in this contest. Matt, a Bainbridge native, is an exceptionally great kid and has dedicated much time to the hockey program, and also captivated audiences in the Circus Company Arcade Shows on Friday and Saturday.

The Ice Cats face Midview on Tuesday at 5:30 pm at Brooklyn Rec Center. The SIBN will have the call, audio-only per OHSAA rules.
