Ohio City - The Freshmen Blue Cats, who turned back Cleveland Heights on Thursday behind Jack Dunstan's difference maker, will take on St. Edward at 10 A.M. Monday in the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day basketball doubleheader in Father Sullivan Gymnasium.

Monday's second game will send the Gold Cats against the Eagles' No. 1 Freshmen Team at 11:30 A.M.

 This corner is looking forward to taking a look at the Wildcats' basketball future on Monday morning in an event I covered for many years until a leave of absence last winter and spring.

 After next Friday's (Jan.19) Junior Varsity (4:30 PM) and Varsity (6:00 PM) makeup games with University School at Father Sullivan Gymnasium, the JV and Varsity Wildcats will host St. Edward in the area's basketball headliner on Saturday night, January 20th. A 5:30 PM JV game will precede the 7 PM Varsity tip off.
