Coach Pat O’Rourke ‘90’s 2017-18 Wildcat prep hockey team is the unanimous #1 ranked team in this week’s coaches poll.

The 15-2-1 team received all ten first-place votes, maxing out a possible 100/100. The ten votes come from distinguished coaches throughout the state of Ohio (4 Cleveland, 2 Toledo, 2 Columbus, 2 Cincinnati). The OHSAA poll comes out every Tuesday, and MHR comes out Wednesday.

The Wildcats were unanimous in the first two rankings after their five goal victory over #2 Toledo Saint Francis.

On Wednesday, MHR will release their rankings and we will keep you updated on that ranking. The Cats head to Grand Rapids to play an eight o’clock contest Friday night against Fox Motors.
