Continuing on from last week’s victory, the Saint Ignatius bowling team brought back another win, under the watchful eyes of Principal Mr. Bradesca '88, the baseball team, and other fans.

Facing off against St. Edward naturally leads to a great amount of pressure for any team at our school, much more than normal for the bowling team when surrounded by a sizeable turnout of supporters.

For the first game, the team stayed ahead by a close lead for the whole match, ultimately winning by only 34 pins. Next game, the team threw an amazing game, with Alex Madeja throwing his new high game of 210 pins. Anthony and Vinny Doran followed suit each throwing 200 pin games.

With such a lead now achieved, the final game went smoothly leading into the bakers, highlighted by Anthony Doran throwing a 235, giving him a 605 series. Giving credit to the Eagles, they did throw two good baker games, enough so to beat our team, but due to the sizeable lead we had coming out of the three games, the team won by 134 pins.

The Wildcats return to action on Wednesday at the Hubbard Tournament.
