Academics come before football, as Head Football Coach Chuck Kyle '69 always preaches.

Two of his star players have taken his words to heart.

Kevin Woidke '15 and Dre'Mont Jones '15, current student-athletes at The Ohio State University, enjoyed success on both the football field and the classroom in 2017.

Both Woidke and Jones received Academic All-Big Ten honors for their hard work in the classroom during the fall semester of 2017. Even while playing football, the two notched a grade point average of above 3.00.

Woidke, now a true junior with the Buckeyes, is a business major. Jones, also a junior, is a sociology major at OSU. Jones is also a promising NFL prospect at defensive tackle, should he decide to declare for the 2018 NFL Draft.

Congrats to Kevin and Dre'Mont on their great work in the classroom! Good luck in the Cotton Bowl vs. USC on December 29!
