The Wildcats look to defend their Padua Christmas Classic title this weekend.

The Wildcats' quest to repeat over Christmas begins Friday night, as they battle Columbus St. Charles. The 10-2-0 Cardinals squad will face off against the Ice Cats on Friday at seven o’clock. Benny Savarino will lead the Wildcats in battle versus the St. Charles squad.

If morning hockey is for you, the Wildcats will play Olentangy Liberty Saturday morning at 9:30. The Patriots are 9-1-1 and Nick Bernstein will look to defend his undefeated record.

Saturday night is a big one by all accounts. Rival St. Francis of Toledo, whom the Wildcats are 3-2-0 against in the past two years, including two state final four wins as well as two round robin PCC losses and a PCC championship win last year, is the opponent for Saturday night at 8:40 as Benny Savarino, Bain Kurtz, and Michael McCaffrey lead the Cats against Tim Organ Jr. and the Barrow cousins.

Sunday’s opponent is TDB; make sure to catch all matchups on the SIBN, as the crew of Jack O’Rourke and Pat Keane will be joined by Max Marazzi and for Friday’s contest Michael Boehm.
