The JV A Cats have now won six straight.

The JV A Cats just keep trucking.

The Wildcats enjoyed the comforts of home on Tuesday evening, defeating the visiting Padua Bruins, 9-0. With the victory, the Wildcats advance to 7-1-1 on the season.

Nearly each member of the JV A squad enjoyed some playing time on Tuesday, as the Wildcats built a 5-goal lead by the end of the first half and used a balanced attack to involve a number of Saint Ignatius playmakers.

Jacob Rolsen enjoyed the most prosperous day for the Wildcats, scoring a pair of tallies for the Wildcats. The junior began the scoring just 10 minutes into the match, finding twine on a nice shot.

Brayden Gotsky kept the Wildcats going with another tally just 90 seconds later, making the lead 2-0. Rolsen notched his second marker of the day with 18:01 remaining in the first on a nice rebound goal.

Alex Waldron scored next for a Wildcats, taking a nice corner kick from Kevin McIntyre at the 12:51 mark of the first. Another tally off a corner kick came with 7:25 left in the first, setting the score at 5-0 heading into the break.

The Wildcats continued to dominate the possession in the second stanza, setting a running clock into effect. Marko Rimac, Ryan Hocking, and DeVar Anderson were among the goal scorers.

With six straight wins in hand, the Wildcats will take plenty of momentum into Saturday. The JV A squad will face the ever-tough Olentangy Liberty top JV squad at home on Wasmer Field at 1 p.m.
