Add another victory to the Tennis Cats' win column.

The Saint Ignatius tennis team defeated the Lakewood Rangers, 5-0, on Friday afternoon. The Wildcats used their depth to defeat the Rangers and advance to 12-1 on the season.

With some Tennis Cats not able to play on Friday, Head Coach Jon Barker '87 brought up Danny McCabe from the JV squad. The senior didn't disappoint, teaming up with Marton Tamasy to claim a win in the second doubles matchup. The duo's victory proved to be a highlight of the day.

The Wildcats' typical stars also shined bright. Andy Siciliano, Arjun Brahmbhatt and Jack McNally all claimed victories in the singles matches for the Wildcats to seal the victory.

The first doubles' team of Richie Hofsra and Jack Showman also did well for the Wildcats. The two Tennis Cats snagged a win, as the Wildcats swept the Rangers, 5-0.

Thanks to three wins this week, the Wildcats have won 10 straight and now stand at 11-1 overall on the year.

The Tennis Cats will again have a busy week upcoming. A trip to Solon is in store on Wednesday, Copley comes to Magnificat on Thursday, and a Friday match at Kenston will round out the week.
