The Tennis Cats seem unstoppable.

The Wildcats earned another win this week, this time a 3-2 decision over Hawken. The tennis squad now stands at 11-1 on the season after Thursday's match was canceled due to weather conditions.

Hawken, a premier tennis program, gave the Wildcats a challenge, but the visitors were ready.

Josh Hsia and Arjun Brahmbhatt won in two sets in the first and third singles, both important victories for the Wildcats. Hsia and Brahmbhatt, a senior and freshman respectively, have played critical roles for the Wildcats.

Hawken earned victories in both doubles contests. Kevin Callanan and John McNally fell in a tough two-set loss, as did Richard Hofstra and Brian Zhu.

But the Wildcats won on a gutsy performance in the second singles matchup. Andy Siciliano, a savvy senior, bested an opponent who gave him quite a challenge. Even still, Siciliano notched a two-set triumph, 7-5, 6-1.

The Wildcats also played Lakewood on Friday, with results yet to come.
