A resounding 74-50 win over Cleveland Heights has cemented the Wildcats' standing at one of the top teams in Northeast Ohio.

Accordingly, the Wildcats remain No. 1 in the Cleveland.com Top 25 poll for another third straight week.

Saint Ignatius stands at 12-4 with six games left on the schedule, with four of those in the friendly confines of Sullivan Gym. The next two will be particularly important.

The Wildcats will play at St. Edward on Friday and host Solon on Saturday. The results of these two games will have a significant impact on playoff seeding, which will be announced next week.

The Eagles currently hold the No. 3 spot in the poll, while the Comets sit at No. 15.

Saturday's contest will also be Safety Forces Night, which will begin with a pregame Mass and reception. Varsity jackets and coats will also be collected for Varsity Coats for Needy Folks on Saturday in the Athletic Hall of Fame Hallway.
