In a stellar weekend for Saint Ignatius athletics, perhaps no one dominated his opponent as thoroughly as Anthony Delsanter '18. 

The junior led the Varsity Blue team to a first place finish at the Painesville Riverside Rumble, and has earned the Student-Athlete of the Week award for his efforts. 

Delsanter rolled to a 5-0 record at the Riverside Rumble over the weekend in the 126 pound weight class. More impressively, Delsanter pinned each of his opponents in the first period. 

Thanks in part to Delsanter's efforts, the Mat Cats rolled to a 5-0 record at the Riverside Rumble. 

Also to be congratulated is Kaden Russell, who finished fourth at the prestigious Ironman Tournament, and basketball standout Matt Davet, who scored 52 points in 2 games in Erie last weekend.

Delsanter and the Mat Cats return to action tonight in Parma Heights, as the Wildcats will face Valley Forge and Akron Garfield. Saint Ignatius wrestling will also host Madison and Strongsville on Saturday at Sullivan Gym at noon.
