As we reported Saturday night, the Football Wildcats (9-1) will face the Polar Bears from Massillon Jackson (7-3) on Friday night at 7:30 on Byers Field in Parma's Robert M. Boulton Stadium.

If successful versus Jackson, Saint Ignatius will advance to face the winner of the other first-round matchup in its bracket between the Solon Comets (9-1) and the Golden Eagles of GlenOak (6-4) on November 11th at a site to be determined.

The corner will preview the matchup with Massillon Jackson on Tuesday night.
